1. Who we are
FinRescue Technologies Private Limited is a company incorporated in Karnataka, India, with its registered office at Balaji Arcade, 472/7, 2nd & 3rd Floor, 20th Cross Road, Koramangala VI Block, Bangalore South, Bangalore - 560095, Karnataka, India. We operate the FinRezcue website and the AI Care service that helps individuals assess and pursue banking, insurance and investment disputes in India.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below, and you are the Data Principal.
2. What we collect
We collect only what the service needs to work:
- Account details — your name, email address and a securely stored password when you sign up.
- Claim intake information — the details you give us about your dispute: the category, the institution involved, amounts, dates and your description of what happened.
- Documents you upload — policy documents, claim forms, rejection or repudiation letters, statements, bills and similar records. These often contain financial information, and in insurance matters may contain health information. We treat all of it as confidential.
- Care conversations — when you use Care by chat, by voice on the website, or by phone, we process the audio and store a transcript of the conversation so the agent can continue where you left off and so we can improve the service.
- Phone number — when you call our Care line or ask us to send you an upload or payment link by SMS or WhatsApp.
- Payment records — the fact, amount, date and status of a payment. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored on our systems.
- Basic technical data — the information your browser sends with each request, plus server logs used to keep the service secure and working.
3. Why we use it
- To analyse your documents and produce a free assessment of case strength and its reasoning.
- To run the Care agent — understanding your issue, asking follow-ups and guiding you through uploads.
- To prepare grievance drafts, escalation checklists and case-manager handoffs if you pay the filing fee.
- To take payment and issue receipts.
- To contact you about your case, including sending upload or payment links.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your documents or Care conversations to advertise to you, and we do not share them with banks, insurers or investment firms unless you have asked us to act on your behalf in that specific matter.
4. The legal basis we rely on
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you create an account, start a Care conversation or upload documents, and for the legitimate uses permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — such as performing the service you have asked for and complying with the law. You can withdraw consent at any time, as described in section 8.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the service, and only to the extent they need it. These currently include:
- Cloud hosting and storage providers who host our servers and your uploaded files.
- AI providers who process document text and Care conversations to produce analysis and spoken responses.
- Telephony and messaging providers who connect Care phone calls and deliver SMS or WhatsApp links.
- A payment gateway that processes your payment and holds your card or bank details.
- Professional advisers, auditors and law-enforcement or regulatory authorities where we are legally required to disclose.
Some of these providers process data outside India. Where that happens, we transfer data only to countries not restricted by the Central Government and require the provider to protect it under contract.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account, case files and Care transcripts for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so that you can return to a case, and so we can meet legal, tax and audit obligations. When data is no longer needed for either purpose, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it. If you ask us to erase your data we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. How we protect it
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted internal access so that only people who need your files can open them. No system is perfectly secure, but if a personal data breach affects you we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires. Please do not send documents to us over unsecured channels such as public messaging groups.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate personal data.
- Erase personal data we no longer need for the purpose it was collected.
- Withdraw your consent at any time — though this may mean we can no longer provide the service.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
To exercise any of these, write to support@finrezcue.com. We will respond within the period required by law.
9. Children
Our service is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to support@finrezcue.com and we will delete it.
10. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to remember the case you are working on. These are necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you before it takes effect.
12. Grievance Officer
